Tony, Jo & Tammy work out of the serenity of Titirangi in the Auckland hills. All extremely experienced operators in the NZ financial services scene who value advice and value adviser businesses. We love working with independent practitioners on a boutique and personal level, and love watching them grow great businesses of their own.
We have helped literally hundreds of advisers over the years…we can help you too.

How we work

We hold a central belief that building professional processes and systems does not have to be done by dismantling successful sales or service systems. The Strictly Business approach to compliance is to figure out how to develop YOUR way of doing things into a compliant process, rather than try and impose an abstract idea of what "best practice" might be into your business and you having to re-design everything you do. We don’t want to break what works; we want to build on it.

Tony Vidler

The definition of seasoned veteran, Tony has over 3 decades in the NZ advisory world. It’s included building and running a large advisory business, leading the professional association, working inside institutions in senior management, and back to running his own small boutique agency while coaching and growing other advice businesses. Tony’s professional credentials for compliance include being a Certified Financial Planner; Chartered Life Underwriter; Chartered Financial Consultant and Industry Best Practice Expert. Former Chair of Institute of Financial Advisers (pre-FANZ) and past Chair of the Professional Development Committee; member of the Certification Committee.

Jo Buckland

Well known to many advisers from her 25 years of working in life insurance sales support and administration, Jo provides general office support and generally organises Strictly Business together with working to support the delivery of our compliance assurance program for NZ financial advisers.

Tammy McGregor

Tammy is also well known to many financial advisers having worked with Jo supporting hundreds of them during the last 15 years.  Tammy provides direct support for client accounts, particularly around the compliance assurance program and client auditing functions.
